I’m Melissa, founder of Alder & Co., a residential interior design studio based in the North West.

Having completed my Professional Diploma in Interior Design with the National Design Academy, I’m passionate about creating thoughtful, timeless homes that feel personal, welcoming and beautiful to live in.

I’m drawn to classic colour palettes, layered textures and details that bring character to a space. My approach is to create interiors that reflect the people who live in them, balancing style with comfort and practicality.

Before establishing Alder & Co., I worked in project management, where I developed a strong appreciation for organisation, clear communication and bringing ideas to life. This experience continues to shape how I approach each design, from the initial brief through to the finer details.
